The only way to make REAL money in the stock market is to:
“Buy high quality companies with long-term advantages at discount prices.”
In the Stock Marketing Investing Course, I show you how to do that.
I answer 7 questions in SMIC (Stock Market Investing Course):
- What are the characteristics of a high-quality company?
- How to tell if a company will continue growing?
- How to tell if a company is selling at a discount?
- Where can you find such companies?
- How do you buy them?
- How long do you hold them?
- When should you sell them?
The objective of this course is to help you build a framework that you can use to evaluate all companies.
It’s that simple.

- Sometimes Stocks are referred to as shares, securities or equities. So, when you’re speaking to someone and they use the word securities, they’re really just talking about stocks.
- A stock is just a tiny piece of a company. For example, Apple, Inc. has 15.2 billion stocks. It means, Apple is divided into 15.2 billion tiny pieces. When you own a 100 stocks of Apple, you essentially own 100 of those tiny pieces. By the way if you want to know many stocks a company has, simply go to Google, and type in “Outstanding shares” followed by the company name.
- Market cap is essentially the dollar amount the company is selling for. For example – If you own a small business and someone buys your entire business for $2 million, that’s the market cap of the company AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE.
- If you CAN buy a stock in a company, it’s a Public company. Conversely, if you cannot buy a stock in a company, it’s a Private company.
